Shortly before the collapse of the communist world, two unsuccessful bar owners from northern Macedonia, Stavros and Fotis, hit on a plan, involving semi-legal currency dealings, that if all goes well will make them rich. After they travel from Greece to Switzerland, via Bulgaria, their cosy dream of getting rich quick goes up in smoke.
