Biosemiotic Borneo lingers around a giant Banyan tree that stands in the Meratus Mountains in Southkalimantan. Engaging the semiotic processes of nature, the video explores how artists and field biologists go about sensing the dense forest ecologies using specific equipment and new methodologies to describe entire genetic assemblages as fluid text.
