This film makes the assumption that an artist and his work are one. “Camesi, Theatre of Signs” does not therefore attempt a biography of the artist, but is content to show his work as “matter, trace, memory of the body”. Born in 1940 in Menzonio, Camesi has enjoyed countless exhibitions in Switzerland, France, Germany, the United States and Japan.
Questo film parte dall'asunto che non c'è dualità tra l'artista e la sua opera. In «Camesi – Il teatro dei segni» non sarà quindi questione della biografia dell'artista, ma soltanto del suo lavoro come materia, traccia, memoria del corpo. Camesi è nato nel 1940 a Menzonio. Numerose le sue esposizioni in Svizzera, Francia, Germania, Stati Uniti, Giappone.
