A filmmaker and a sound sculptor embark on an adventurous journey. They plan to travel for six months in a VW van from Geneva, through Germany, Poland, the Ukraine, Russia, Kazakstan, Mongolia, Siberia and Korea to Japan. They will travel 22,000 kilometers with their goal being to meet with blind people in Japan and transport them into the wonderful world of sounds that have been collected on their journey: sounds from our world recorded in the smallest detail. A sound odyssey – music as an echo of cultural diversity.
