Shamanism, the ancient spiritual practice, is experiencing new-found popularity and generating a great amount of curiosity. However, there are few films about neo-shamanism which have been successful in Europe. This documentary was able to follow a group of Westerners for several weeks and film numerous rituals which are generally held in great secret. The arrival of Amazonian shamans who agreed to be filmed outside their traditional context made it possible to show that the dialog between the indigenous and the Europeans had commenced.
