The film is set in southeast Africa, where 150 street children from a township in Malawi train with a Swiss U21 national coach and subsequently compete in a football tournament. The film’s portrayal includes one street child, the national trainer and the initiators of the project, thus illustrating everyday life and the dreams of those living in the township, the organisational and administrative intricacies, the exchange – and also clash – of the two cultures, but particularly the participants’ zest for life and their enthusiasm for this encounter and the game.
