On the idyllic Alps, a herd of sheep live peacefully and joyfully, guarded by the shepherd Paula. One day, a wealthy farmer, leaseholder of the Alps, sends John the herdsman to install law and order. Featuring in a minor role: Pope John Paul II.

Sulle idilliache Alpi, vive un gregge di pecore tranquille e felici, custodite da Paula. Un giorno, il ricco contadino che ha affittato il pascolo, manda il pastore Hans per controllare i suoi averi e "ristabilire l'ordine". In un ruolo secondario, Papa Giovanni Paolo II.
