Zeindler’s ebullient film about musician George Gruntz presents jazz and improvisation in all ist spontaneity. Gruntz has been a well-known personality on the jazz scene for more than four decades, with his music increasingly reaching a public that normally only listens to classical music. The filmmaker presents the successful and multi-faceted artist and offers an insight into how the 75-year-old pianist, composer and conductor makes music today.
