The film allows the spectator to navigate through several masterpieces by Ferdinand Hodler, the famous Swiss painter. The spectator, brought inside Hodler's renowned landscapes, can choose between visiting “The Night", guided among the painting's characters by Death itself, or meeting the well-known "Woodcutter", an emblematic work that figured on the first series of Swiss banknotes.
