An old building in Beirut becomes a complex protagonist with a private life of its own. The narrator’s voice meticulously counts the number of balconies, mosaics and steps while the camera creeps through the corridors like a silent ghost. The poetic deconstruction of the façade, the interior and the remaining inhabitants turn this film into a delicate metaphor of a city’s frame of mind.
