Scientist Olivia Permuzzi is on the verge of a technological transhumanist revolution that aims to bring dead matter back to life. She temporarily moves back in with her father and gives him a picture as a token of her gratitude. Her father has to go away for a week and leaves Olivia in charge of the house. This week turns into a nightmare for Olivia, because the picture is possessed and feeds on her fears and insecurities.
