An idyllic village in the mountains is isolated from the rest of the world by an avalanche, which was intentionally triggered. Reto Lauenstein wants to seek revenge for the death of his beloved son, who was run over by a drunken driver, namely Adalbert Jentsch, the panjandrum of the village. Lauenstein threatens to trigger further avalanches if Jentsch is not executed within the next 24 hours. The village policeman, Daniel, who is Jentsch's son, is forced to take action, which means coming out of the shadows of his dominant father. In the course of the investigation, Daniel discovers that the dynamite was stolen, and all evidence leads to the fact that it lies dispersed in the mountains above the village. A race against time begins.
