Dreaming of joining a highly selective Napoleonic historical reenactment regiment strictly reserved for men, Josie (25), a modern-day Belgian woman, falls in love with Paul Weiss (50) the renowned American Napoleon impersonator. Josie immerses herself in a role play by his side and portrays Josephine de Beauharnais, the Empress and Napoleon’s great love, a role far removed from what she thought she wanted for herself.
