The film tells of the dramatic fate of the industrialist Luchino Revelli-Beaumont. The successful captain of industry was one of the architects of the VAZ/FIAT plants, the automobile industry run by the government in Soviet Russia at that time. He was president of Fiat Argentina, Fiat Brazil and lastly director general of Fiat France. But then the manager’s career ended abruptly. Revelli was abducted in 1977. His sensational ascent is followed by a dramatic fall, making his life a living hell – to this day.
