The most talented young singers from all over the world converge at the Zurich Opera Studio for one year to prepare for the world’s major opera stages. The Mexican star tenor Francisco Araiza assists them in determining their own musical personality. “Let me hear your voice,” says Araiza, “and I’ll tell you who you are.” The film illustrates how the young singers bring to life all the dramas involving unrequited love and vulnerability, trust and betrayal, while transporting the audience to the poetic space that they manifest with their voices.
