Charlotte, aged 32, has just been released from prison after serving two of the three years to which she was condemned as an accomplice in an armed robbery whose main protagonist, or protagonists, have never been caught. Her first move is to seek out her son Fred, age 11, held during her imprisonment in a home operated by the DASS.
