Since the beginning of human history man has been fascinated by the possible existence of other worlds. In 1995 the two Swiss astronomers Michel Mayor and Didier Queloz were the first to discover a new planet beyond the sun. Ever since, they have been hunting for other new worlds in outer space from the big observatories located in the desert of Atacama in Chile. This film is the story of their quest, which is still at an early stage, for other worlds in our universe in which there may be some form of life.
