Lina is in her early sixties and lives on a small, remote stud farm in the Bernese Jura. One day her son Daniel visits her. The first and last time she saw him was at his birth more than 40 years earlier. This encounter gives rise to a poignant journey into the past for Lina. She gave birth to her son in prison. Subjected to administrative detention by the authorities to reform her “immoral lifestyle” and her “propensity for wanton misconduct”, her parental custody was withdrawn in the child’s best interests. Now Lina can recount her experiences for the first time – a moving drama based on true stories.
