Dandelion Children are children of addicted parents. The documentary accompanies Jasmin, herself an affected person and cofounder of the association Löwenzahnkinder, on her journey to Portugal, where she visits her formerly heroin addicted father. She and other affected people tell their story and talk about about the challenges and prejudices they and over one hundred thousand other dandelion children in Switzerland are confronted with.

Il film-documentario accompagna Jasmin, lei stessa persona affetta da questa malattia e cofondatrice dell'associazione Löwenzahnkinder, nel suo viaggio in Portogallo, dove fa visita al padre ex eroinomane. Lei e altre persone affette raccontano la loro storia e le sfide e i pregiudizi con cui loro e gli oltre centomila altri figli del dente di leone in Svizzera devono confrontarsi.
