I had two rolls of 16mm film stock in the fridge from my feature film MARE and decided to film my son, my mother and me for a couple of days with my Bolex during the lockdown. I was trying to capture the restlessness, the feeling of being in limbo, along with the everyday life we were trying to maintain, even though everything was different. Well, no, not everything, the birds were still cheerfully chirping in front of our windows.
