Devoted entirely to his own career, psychiatrist Paul Peterson has developed a high-tech method for treating schizophrenics in his private clinic, Pax Montana. He is of course not at all interested in the people he is treating, but only in his own personal advancement. It soon turns out that the doctor’s media-based process, using electromagnetic radiation can result in serious cerebral dysfunctions. However Laura Tobler, a journalist who happens to be the daughter of a millionaire chemicals manufacturer who is one of the main backers of Peterson’s clinic, uses her father’s influence to gain access, and discovers that the radiation therapy in use at the Pax Montana can have lethal effects.
