An unending story that blurs the distinction between dream and reality. The helper in one world becomes the victim in the other. A stranger stands undecidedly at a crossing and, through the window of the bookshop opposite, catches sight of a women submerged in leafing through a book. At that very same moment, a truck thunders towards the bookshop out of control, rams the building and kills the woman. Soaked in perspiration, the man wakes up in his bed at home. Driven by a bad premonition, he rushes out of the house and begins to look for the woman. When he arrives at the bookshop, the woman waves to him excitedly from the other side of the street... - the roles are reversed and the saviour becomes the victim.
