On the Caribbean island of Jamaica a kind of music was born that took over the whole world. It originated in the slums and inspired generations to believe in the possibility of a better world and to fight for it. Every child knows reggae and its icon, Bob Marley. But how did it all begin? Forty years later, this documentary accompanies the founders of this world music in the original studio in Kingston, where they record their old hits and tell us their story.
