The idea for round paintings being still and moving images, was older, when I started 2012 – between then and 2017 it became fourteen paintings. The film reflects decentred forms, perception and habits. Later I heard an inspireing sentence by the philosopher Butler giving the memory of the perception a new dimension. „I have to allow myself to become decentred in order to have an ethical relation to others and to participate in a democratic way of life.“
