This film introduces the spectator, without comment, to the lives of an alpine cheesemaker and his family at the end of the 20th century. Questioning the meaning of identity, “Sennen-Ballade” attempts to make us aware of the great contradiction at the centre of all our lives, revealed by the questions: Who am I? What am I doing?
