An essayistic documentary constructed from private film footage and text messages from the director, her sisters and aunt. When mother soon dies, the family learns to quantify pain on a scale of one to ten and to follow mother's amazing serenity. The chat becomes a voice over. The sound of rushing water, creaking floors and blown-out Christmas candles form the soundtrack of a passing life.
