Stöffi, mentally disabled, lives with his mother and has endeared himself to the townspeople in Einsiedeln. When his mother dies unexpectedly, there is talk of putting Stöffi in an institution. In order to prevent this, however, his mother revealed a well-kept secret while on her deathbed. Zeno – an old flame of her youth and restaurant owner – is Stöffi’s father. He should look after him now. Thus begins a long journey for Stöffi and Zeno, because the two have much to learn before they can actually be a father or a son. A subtle, warm-hearted drama.
