Gladys is “that girl” who does things her way, unimpressed by conventions. But her vision of an idyllic life with her Swiss husband Thomas, and of their humanitarian project in rural Zambia, soon hits the hard ground of reality. The obstacles seem insurmountable, the couple is at risk of losing everything.
