In Adalbert's mind palace, we follow his fantasies to the bitter end. As an unreliable narrator, he has complete control over how he is perceived. For him, being human is too narrow, too restrictive. Taking on the life of another being brings the long-awaited, exhilarating experience of a complete rearrangement of all his molecules. Based on the short story: “The Black Cat” by Edgar Allan Poe, 1843.
