Turicum is the earliest recorded historical name for the city of Zurich in Roman times. But what is Zürich now? Is it the splendid location on the lake, surrounded by running forest hills and the Uetliberg mountain, towering over the rich banks and elegant boutiques lining the Bahnhofstrasse, or is there much more to it? One thing is for sure: there are no longer many Zurich natives born from the city, representing the times and faith of Zwingli. A snapshot of a multicultural city, writing its own stories, and continuously finding and reinventing itself.
