Awards for two Swiss films from the Swiss Romandie region

The short film "Twist" by Geneva director Alexia Walther received an honorable mention at the Milano Film Festival as part of the "Aprile Awards". The film was in competition at the 12th edition of the event (September 14 - 23, 2007).
Similarly, the film "Rachel" by Frédéric Mermoud was given an honorable mention by the jury at the 12th International Festival of Contis, which took place in the French Landes Department from September 21-24, 2007.
This continues the successful festival tour of "Twist". The director herself performs the film's dance scene in experimental fashion, which gave it its name. After screenings in cities such as Belfort, Lisboa, Oberhausen, Belo Horizonte, and Locarno, "Twist" will move on to screenings in Cologne, Kassel, and Barcelona over the next few weeks.
"Rachel" will be part of the Short Film Nights tour in the Romandie and the Ticino (October 5 - November 16, 2007).
