Shake The Devil Off” wins editing award in Montréal

Peter Entell’s documentary film for cinema, “Shake The Devil Off”, was honoured with the “Prix Montage” at the 10th “Rencontres internationales du documentaire” in Montréal (RIDM), which came to a close on November 18, 2007. The prize amounts to 1,000 Canadian Dollars.
“Shake The Devil Off” was screened at the festival’s closing event, with the film’s protagonist Father LeDoux in attendance. Not only did Father LeDoux give a speech, he also struck up a round of singing among the entire audience.
The jury for the “Prix Montage” is comprised of three Canadian film editors: Josée Beaudet, François Dupuis and France Pilon.
