Swiss films in Hof and Duisburg 2005

The Hof International Film Festival 2005, an event with importance for film distribution in Germany, screens “Snow White” by Samir and the television production “Der Keiler” (Wild boar) by Urs Egger, both produced by Dschoint Ventschr, Zurich. Also part of the program are the low-budget comedy “Drum Bun” by Robert Ralston, the first-time feature film “Stages” by Marek Beles (Production: Film Academy Baden-Wuerttemberg) and two short films “Wir sind dir treu” by Michael Koch (main actor in “Ready, Steady, Charly!”), and “Floh!” by Christine Wiederkehr. “Floh” previously won the First Steps Awards in Berlin.

Following the Hof International Film Festival, the 29th Duisburg Documentary Film Festival, taking place from October 31 – November 6, has invited “Gambit” by Sabine Gisiger (Production: Dschoint Ventschr Filmproduktion) along with “Klingenhof” by Beatrice Michel and Hermann Theissen (Co-production Dschoint Ventschr). This year’s festival theme is “Friends of Reality.”
