“Titeuf, le film” draws some 300,000 viewers in France

The feature-length animation film “Titeuf, le film” by Zep, a coproduction with PointProd in Geneva, has been showing in French cinemas since April 6, 2011.

The feature-length animation film “Titeuf, le film” by Zep, a coproduction with PointProd in Geneva, has been showing in French cinemas since April 6, 2011. During the first week 287,557 tickets were already sold. Pathé Distribution launched the film for young and old alike, with 622 prints throughout all of France.

The film by Zep, illustrator and comic-strip artist from Geneva, has also been a box-office hit in French-speaking Switzerland - with the most admissions in its first week (9,308) - and has since been seen by 12,500 viewers. The film was launched by JMH Distribution on April 6 as well in Switzerland. It portrays the comic-strip hero with the wild strand of hair in both a classic 2-D version and a 3-D version.
