Ambra Guidotti

Ambra Guidotti was born in Sementina in 1999. After graduating as a social worker, she lived for a year in Berlin, where she started to develop an interest in the audiovisual world, particularly in editing. Since 2020 she has been attending the CISA film school in Locarno, where she has created Quello che non ti so dire (ThingsI can’t tell you), an intimate documentary that has allowed her - thanks to the use of archive footage - to investigate her father’s past and explore their father-daughter relationship. Ambra loves working with archival materials, home movies and footage filmed by herself. She also made several music videos for a Ticino rock band with some of her home movies. Currently Ambra is specializing in editing.
