Gabriel Murisier writes, directs and edits films that fall somewhere between absurd humour, repetitive humour, black comedy, documentary, mockumentary, political irony, joyful subversion, repetitive humour, sarcasm and repetitive humour. Self-taught and committed, each project is an opportunity to seek to make people laugh seriously, to test the boundaries between fiction and reality, to provoke.
Since childhood, storytelling has come naturally. Gabriel started with stop-motion Lego films, mini-shows for his parents, theatrical improvisation, theatre, street performances and absurd parody newspapers, before discovering video, short films and short formats.
In 2021, Gabriel is participating in Atelier 7, a residency in the form of a democratic school initiated by Les Parasites.
