Gemma Ushengewe, born 02.08.1995, is a filmmaker, editor and video artist living in Geneva. At the end of her Bachelor of Cinema at HEAD-Geneva (Haute Ecole d'Art et Design) in 2020, Gemma directed "The Black Hedgehog", a documentary and experimental film that talks about the structural racism experienced by the Afro-descendant community. Inspired by narrative devices, she explores hybrid universes between documentary, fiction and essay.
