Born in 1966 in Berlin, Germany. German citizenship. Worked as assistant director, script editor, theatre director in Zittau, Legnica und Berlin before directing short films and discovering film editing. Lived in London, Brighton and New York and worked as freelance film editor for PBS, National Geographic, Lifetime and as filmmaker. Member of the German Film Academy.
