Born in 1978. Of joint Swiss and American nationality, she studied Literature and Photography in the USA and in France. In 2006 she graduated with a Master in Documentary Film from Stanford University. Her shorts screened at festivals and received the Princess Grace Foundation Award and an ITVS Grand Jury Prize. THE COURAGEOUS (2024), her debut feature, was a participant of the Torino Script Lab 2021 and premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. THE COURAGEOUS received the prize for Best Fiction Film and Best Lead Performance from the cantons of Bern and Zurich as well as the Critics' prize and the Ecumenical prize at the Zurich Film Festival.
