Born in 1988 in Lucerne, Switzerland. He graduated with a Bachelor in Film in 2017 and a Master in film directing in 2022 from ZHdK (Zürcher Hochschule der Künste). His short film HEART FRUIT (2022) premiered at the Locarno Film Festival and went on to screen in numerous festivals including San Sebastian and Karlovy Vary. The film was awarded the Preis der Deutschen Filmkritik at Filmfest Dresden, among other prizes. Together with Michael Karrer he is currently writing the screenplay of his first feature-length fiction film.
