Born in 1982 in Speicher, Switzerland. 2001-04 Attends Schule für Gestaltung Basel. He works as a freelance cinematographer and director. As director of photography Ramòn Giger filmed the documentaries MIR FEHLEN MANCHMAL DIE WORTE by Edgar Hagen, EL TIEMPO NUBLADO by Arami Ullon, EUROPE, SHE LOVES by Jan Gassmann, as well as Gassmann's feature film OFF BEAT, both of which premiered in the Panorama section of the Berlinale. OFF BEAT was nominated in 2012 and EUROPE, SHE LOVES in 2017 for the Swiss Film Award in the category "Best Cinematography".
