Timm Kröger
Director, Screenwriter, Producer
Born 1985 in Itzehoe, Germany. He studied at the European Film College in Ebeltoft and at the Filmakademie Baden-Württenberg in Ludwigsburg. His first feature and graduation film THE COUNCIL OF BIRDS (2014) premiered in Venice's Critics' Week. He was cinematographer for Sandra Wollner's THE TROUBLE WITH BEING BORN (2020) and THE IMPOSSIBLE PICTURE (2016). Since 2018 he is part of The Barricades, a Berlin-based production company. THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING (2023) is his feature film debut as screenwriter and director and will premiere in competition at the Venice Biennale.
