Rihs’ film catapults its audience into the world of several rootless “losers” who try to get quick access to money and riches by the mere strength of their wits. But this proves no easy task in a city like Berlin, where poverty stands out. They try their luck at everything from fraud, lottery games and even satanic rituals, but finally discover that true riches are often everything else but mere cash.
