Née en 1985 à Tbilisi (Georgie). Elene Naveriani a étudié la peinture à l'Académie d'État des arts de Tbilissi. En 2011, iel a reçu un Master en Cybermédia Curatorial Critique, en 2014 un Bachelor en Cinéma de la HEAD – Genève (École d'Art et de Design de Genève). Le premier long métrage I AM TRULY A DROP OF SUN ON EARTH (2017) a été présenté en première à l'IFFR et a été primé à Entrevues Belfort et à la Semana Internacional de Cine de Valladolid. Le court métrage RED ANTS BITE (2019) a été présenté en première à l'IFFR. MERLE MERLE MÛRE (2023) a été présenté en première mondiale à la Quinzaine des cinéastes Cannes 2023 et a remporté de nombreux prix en festivals.
