Born in 1963 in Zurich, Switzerland. 1986-2002 Collaborates with cinema Xenix in Zurich. Since 1988 repeated journeys, research and working visits to India, China, Tibet and Japan. Studied Cultural Anthropology, Film and Social History at the University of Zurich. 1997 MA in Visual Anthropology. Since 1998 works as independent filmmaker and producer. 1998-2001 Collaboration in establishing the children’s filmclub Magic Lantern in Zurich. 2002 Cofounder of the film festival Regard Bleu at the Anthropological Museum Zurich. 2005 Ph.D. in Visual Anthropology. 2006-08 Head of the department of Visual Anthropology at the Anthropological Museum of University of Zurich.
