Thierry has not lived in Switzerland for many years, but now he has to return with his companion Sophie for his grandmother’s funeral. Unexpectedly, a large inheritance is offered to him on the condition that he appear capable, in the eyes of his uncles, of putting it to good use. However, as opposed to his brother and sister, he fails – and is even prepared to renounce his part – when his cousin Aloïs (who would like to get closer to Sophie) persuades him to try again…and to re-identify with Swiss values!

Thierry, che ha lasciato la Svizzera da tempo, deve tornarci con la compagna Sophie per il funerale della nonna. Una volta sul posto, gli viene offerta un’eredità inattesa e importante, purché si dimostri capace di farne buon uso, agli occhi degli zii. Contrariamente al fratello e alla sorella, fallisce nel tentativo. Sta quasi per rinunciare alla sua parte quando il cugino Aloïs (che si farebbe volentieri Sophie!) lo convince a sfidare la sorte una seconda volta… riscoprendo i valori elvetici!
