Andrea’s voice guides us through some thoughts, insinuating that we are all racists, Andrea first. Playing on the erroneous clichés around discrimination, such as the belief that no person of respect can be racist, or that black people are dangerous, the monologue brings us a stream of consciousness that is meant to make us reflect on the narration and consider the perceptions of ourselves and others. While listening to the words, the audience is visually led through an ordinary day in life. So, a racist leads a life like mine, yours, or anyone else’s?
La voce di Andrea ci guida attraverso alcuni pensieri, insinuando che siamo tutti razzisti, Andrea per primə. Giocando sui luoghi comuni errati che circondano la discriminazione, come la convinzione che nessuna persona di rispetto possa essere razzista, o che le persone non-bianche siano pericolose, il monologo ci porta un flusso di coscienza con lo scopo di farci riflettere nella narrazione e riconsiderare le percezioni di noi stessi e degli altri. Mentre ascolta le parole, il pubblico viene guidato visivamente attraverso un'ordinaria giornata di vita. Quindi, un razzista conduce una vita come la mia, la vostra o quella di chiunque altro?
