Annina Reber developed her place as a mountain guide with talent, endurance and courage. Ariane Stäubli and Nadja Roth dream of this profession. On their way there they grow beyond their limits and see dreams being shattered. In the Swiss Alps they are still exceptions today – the female mountain guides. Excluded until the 1980s from the mountain guide association and Alpine Club, only about three dozen women currently work in the guild of 1300 Swiss guides. The film tells of courage, anger and the freedom to throw obsolete role models overboard.
