A hospital room. A camera in hand. A motionless man begins to travel – through memories, through longings, through silence. This is how the film is born: from an absence that becomes presence. A “ghost” walks beside him, touches him, leads him. Perhaps it is himself – or something more. A dreamlike, intimate, and profound journey, unfolding across twenty years of footage, reverie, and questioning, in search of the mystery within life itself.
Una stanza d’ospedale. Una videocamera tra le mani. Un uomo immobile che inizia a viaggiare – nei suoi ricordi, nei suoi desideri, nei suoi silenzi. Così nasce questo film, da un’assenza che diventa presenza. Un «fantasma» lo accompagna, lo sfiora, lo guida. È forse se stesso, o qualcosa di più. Un viaggio onirico, intimo e profondo, che attraversa vent’anni di immagini, sogni e domande, per interrogare la vita e il mistero che ci abita.
