A Tuscan village threatened with extinction rebels against institutional ignorance. Six intrepid individuals join forces and embark on a pilgrimage to Rome with two donkeys, their village saint and the local filmmaker. They believe that the Pope is their last hope of saving their parish house, which is in danger of collapse.
